Ndloti days start with a hearty breakfast that includes freshly-baked confections like muffins, brown or white toast, baked eggs, crispy bacon and a variety of cereal and yoghurts.
Lunch time is a packed lunch served in the field. This can vary between a cold meat sandwich or a fresh burger patty from the animal shot in the morning.
Around the dinner table, we eat what we shoot (Backstrap, Steak, Tender Loins) to ensure an authentic conclusion after an adventurous day.
Snacks like dried sausage, biltong, local nuts and chips are available throughout the day, . Occasionally, we have deep fried francolin breasts as well as our specialty starter liver and caul fat, a South African favourite.
We offer a unique South African experience and also a unique Free State experience as we are right up against the Lesotho border. We have species to be hunted that naturally only occur in this area; Black Wildebeest and Blesbuck.
Interesting facts about wildlife at Ndloti
We strive to add to the conservation efforts of this region. The game used to roam freely here but with cattle and sheep farm taking over, wildlife was driven from the area.
All game at Ndloti has been relocated to the area and thus we have added back to the ecosystem what once occurred here naturally.
Three spacious, newly-built chalets overlook the tranquil Free State plains. Separated by bushes, each has an en-suite bathroom and a cozy wood-fired combustion stove for those chilly winter nights.
Separately located is a central lodge with facilities to bring family and old friends together. This is where you will have your meals, spend nights around the campfire or work up a sweat in the gym.
